Author Guidelines

The International Journal of Applied Smart Interdisciplinary Technologies (IJASIT) invites authors to submit original, high-quality research papers that contribute to the advancement of smart and interdisciplinary technologies. Authors are requested to follow the guidelines below to ensure a smooth review and publication process.

1. Types of Manuscripts

IJASIT accepts the following types of submissions:

  • Research Articles – Original research contributions
  • Review Papers – Comprehensive literature reviews
  • Case Studies – Practical implementations and applications
  • Short Communications – Brief reports on emerging ideas

2. Submission Process

  • Manuscripts must be submitted through the online submission system (OJS).
  • Authors must register and log in before submitting their manuscripts.
  • Submissions should not be under consideration elsewhere.

3. Manuscript Preparation

Language

  • Manuscripts must be written in clear and concise English.

File Format

  • Submit in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) format.
  • Use the journal template (if provided).

Length

  • Recommended length: 6–15 pages

4. Manuscript Structure

Authors should organize their manuscript as follows:

  1. Title
  2. Author(s) Name and Affiliation
  3. Abstract (150–250 words)
  4. Keywords (4–6 keywords)
  5. Introduction
  6. Literature Review
  7. Methodology
  8. Results and Discussion
  9. Conclusion
  10. References

5. Formatting Guidelines

  • Font: Palatino Linotype
  • Font Size: 10 pt (body text)
  • Line Spacing: 1.5
  • Margins: 1 inch on all sides
  • Alignment: Justified

6. Figures and Tables

  • Figures and tables must be clear and properly labeled
  • Each must have a caption and number
  • Refer to them in the text

7. References

  • Use APA / IEEE format (choose one and maintain consistency)
  • All references must be cited in the text
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness

8. Plagiarism Policy

  • IJASIT follows strict plagiarism policies
  • Similarity should be below 10–15%
  • All manuscripts are checked using plagiarism detection tools
  • Papers with high similarity will be rejected

9. Peer Review Process

  • All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review
  • Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two experts
  • Authors may be required to revise their manuscript

10. Copyright and Licensing

  • Authors retain copyright of their work
  • By submitting, authors grant the journal the right to publish
  • Articles may be distributed under open-access policies

11. Ethical Considerations

  • Authors must ensure originality and authenticity
  • Proper citations must be provided
  • Any conflicts of interest must be disclosed
