Abstract

The increasing demand for intelligent healthcare and routine management systems has encouraged the development of smart automation technologies. This paper presents a Personalized Smart Reminder System that combines Internet of Things (IoT) devices and Machine Learning techniques to improve adherence to scheduled activities such as medication intake and daily task management. The system uses pressure sensors, microcontrollers, camera modules, buzzers, and wireless communication modules to monitor user activity and detect task completion. If the system identifies non-compliance or unattended items, real-time alerts are generated through buzzers and mobile notifications. A lightweight machine learning model studies user behaviour patterns and adjusts reminder timing dynamically to reduce unnecessary alerts and improve user response efficiency. The proposed system is low-cost, scalable, and suitable for homes, hospitals, elderly care canters, offices, and classrooms. Experimental analysis shows improved reminder accuracy, reduced false alerts, and faster response time compared with conventional reminder systems
